ABOUT ME
Who I am and where I come from
My name is Judith. I’m originally from Berlin, Germany, and my life has taken me across different countries, cultures, and ways of living. I lived in Bali for 5 years and am now based in Portugal, where I continue to build both my work and my life.
Living abroad shaped me deeply. Each move meant starting over — building a new life, finding community, and redefining who I was within a new cultural context. It required letting go of familiar roles and identities and rebuilding inner and outer structures again and again. Over time, this taught me what it truly means to begin anew — not just practically, but internally.
From my own life, I know that change is rarely linear. It often comes with uncertainty and inner conflict — moments when the version of yourself that once worked no longer fits, while the next one has not yet fully formed.
Sensitivity, ambition, and responsibility
I’m highly sensitive (HSP) myself, and many of my clients are as well. Sensitivity, for me, has never meant fragility. It means depth, perception, and a strong internal response to the world.
At the same time, I’ve always been ambitious and driven. I’m familiar with responsibility, performance, and the pressure that comes with holding things together — both internally and externally. For a long time, these two parts of me existed in tension: the sensitive part that felt deeply, and the ambitious part that learned to function, perform, and adapt.
This inner contradiction is something I recognize in my clients. Many are capable, intelligent, and used to achieving — while privately living with constant inner pressure, overwhelm, or disconnection. My work is grounded in learning how to hold sensitivity and ambition together without sacrificing either.
Inner challenges that shaped my work
Alongside these external changes, my inner path was not without struggle. I experienced significant losses and lived for a long time with self-imposed pressure and high expectations. Despite functioning and appearing capable on the outside, there were periods of emotional exhaustion and depression, and times when I felt deeply disconnected from myself.
These experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of emotional pain, limiting inner patterns, and the inner cost of constantly holding things together. They were not easy chapters, but they fundamentally shaped how I work today, how I hold space, and how seriously I take the inner process of change.
My first career: structure, performance, and pressure
Before dedicating myself fully to this work, I spent over a decade working internationally as a freelancer in project and event management. I led large-scale public events as well as high-profile political and academic gatherings, carrying responsibility for complex processes, teams, budgets, and outcomes.
This work required structure, precision, emotional regulation, and the ability to function under pressure. It also showed me the inner cost of constant functioning. I know what it means to be reliable, to deliver, and to hold things together — and how easily self-connection and emotional truth can get lost along the way.
Leaving this path was not a gradual adjustment, but a conscious and life-changing decision. It meant stepping into uncertainty, questioning my identity, and rebuilding my work from the inside out.
What once was a passion-driven career evolved into purpose-driven work — combining depth, clarity, and meaning.
My second career: psychology, embodiment, and inner work
I’ve always been interested in human behavior — why we think, feel, and act the way we do. Over time, this curiosity became my profession.
Today, my work brings together psychological coaching and counseling, somatic work, mindfulness, and energy healing (Reiki). This is not about collecting methods. It is about supporting the whole person holistically, in a way that is clear, grounded, and human.
Living in Bali played a decisive role in shaping this approach. During this time, I studied and experienced Eastern healing methods firsthand. This learning was lived and embodied, not theoretical, and continues to inform my work today.
What distinguishes my work is the bridge I build between Western psychology — with its clarity, structure, and understanding of regulation — and Eastern approaches that cultivate awareness, presence, and embodied experience.
What makes my work different
I come from a structured, performance-driven professional background with years of international responsibility and real-world pressure. I understand what it means to function at a high level, carry responsibility, and stay reliable — even when it comes at a personal cost.
At the same time, I’ve a professional foundation in psychology and integrative inner work, with extensive training in psychological counseling, somatic work, and energy-based approaches. My work combines Western psychological understanding with Eastern influences and embodied practices.
I’ve worked with more than 500 one-to-one clients from over 40 different countries, cultures, religions, and backgrounds. This breadth of experience has given me a nuanced understanding of how social conditioning, cultural context, and early experiences shape beliefs, emotional patterns, and life choices.
This allows me to work on several levels at once — with thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, and deeper inner patterns. My work stays grounded, clear, and practical. It is never abstract, and never overly spiritualised.
Because of this, my work is never standardized. I don’t apply formulas or fixed frameworks. I meet my clients with what is actually present.
